Being a Vietnamese American, my family pretty much said “You Gonna be Doctah now!”
It’s the reason why I have a degree in Physiology and Chemistry and spent one year at the Southern College of Optometry.
But my life’s passion has always been art. As I sat at my desk during my last quarter for the year, I debated hard of what to do, and realized that if given the chance, would I be happy doing art but constantly struggling? The answer was a definite yes, and I never looked back.
After I dropped out, I immediately went to art school and attended the Academy Of Art in San Francisco. I custom tailored my curriculum to give me the best tools I’d need for a industry career in entertainment. I drew over 100 hours a week, eating, sleeping, and breathing art. You would always find me in the streets of San Francisco, at 11 PM sitting on the sidewalk sketching people as they walk pass by.
All that work eventually paid off as I got my first offer, and then my second, and from there, my career as an artist started to develop and flourish to over 20 years of industry experience.
This website is a collection of some of that work, and I hope anyone who is viewing this or reading this right now, enjoy what I’ve gone through and created.
